Except where a specific item states otherwise, original text, object records, catalog descriptions, exhibits, journal articles, images, illustrations, educational resources, downloads, and other original materials published by Anatomy Steward are protected by copyright and remain All Rights Reserved.

Search, Discovery, and Citation

Anatomy Steward permits automated access to publicly available pages, subject to our robots.txt policies, for the limited purposes of search, discovery, retrieval, citation, and link-based results.

Search engines, academic discovery systems, and machine-assisted search or retrieval services may index public pages; identify page titles, URLs, catalog identifiers, authorship, and descriptive metadata; create search or retrieval indexes; display reasonable short excerpts or summaries for discovery purposes; and provide citations and direct links to the original Anatomy Steward page.

Where practical, Anatomy Steward should be identified as the source and the original page should be linked.

Crawler preferences published in robots.txt are technical access signals. They do not replace or expand the copyright permissions stated on this page.

Catalog Data and Factual Information

Individual facts, scientific names, identifiers, titles, and other uncopyrightable subject matter are not claimed as exclusive copyrighted expression merely because they appear in an Anatomy Steward record.

Original descriptions, explanatory writing, selection, organization, presentation, and other copyrightable expression created by Anatomy Steward remain protected.

Use of factual information does not grant permission to reproduce Anatomy Steward's protected written expression or presentation.

Third-Party Material

Third-party quotations, photographs, data, and other materials retain their respective rights and licenses.

Anatomy Steward grants permissions only for material for which it owns or controls the relevant rights.
